History and charm

Drala Yoga offers superbly crafted open-to-nature venues with a unique character, space, light and charm. Originally built in 1972 as a private retreat, the property was gifted to Drala Yoga in 1991. We kept all the original beams, rock walls, and glazed the huge openings with fully screened sliding doors. 

Our buildings are filled with handmade furniture which gives it warmth and flexibility.

The rooms are gently cooled by gentle ocean breezes.

With the solar panels on every roof our venue is powered soley by renewable energy.

Accommodations

Our luxury en-suite rooms combine rustic charm with funky modern twists. Many original features have been maintained and the materials used – wood, stone, clay – as well as the art decorating the walls, reflect the myriad of nature that surrounds the buildings.

The guest rooms wrap around a beautiful garden courtyard with herbaceous borders and mosaic paths. Each guest room has its own private entrance. Handmade headboards and bed frames perfectly support high-quality Vita Talalay queen-size and extra-long single mattresses. All rooms feature linens from Holy Lamb Organics.

The luxurious ensuite features a tiled walk-in shower with ocean view.
