Loving Me, Loving You is an online weekend workshop that invites you to deeply connect with yourself, who you are and your inherent goodness as a human being.

Most people understand “self-love” as a mindset or a checklist of exercise routines. This workshop is designed to fully transform how you feel about yourself, talk to yourself, make choices for yourself, and tend to your own heart.

With this self-loving foundation, you will also learn essential tools for communication that are the underpinnings for creating joyful and satisfying relationships. You will strengthen your ability to manage conflict by learning new ways of listening and asking for what you need and want.

What will the Loving Me, Loving You workshop bring into your life?

Participating in this workshop will open your eyes to many simple, yet profound, methods for increasing the love, harmony and happiness in your life. We are social creatures by nature and our relationship to ourselves is the foundation that stems outward into all of our interactions in daily life.

Ideally, we are able to live life as a whole person, who feels secure in our choices, needs and personality. However, most of us have had experiences in our lives that have broken trust, or undermined our ability to be fully free in who we are.

Most of the time people begin relationships with love, but struggle to communicate and live in such a way that their love stays strong. When one or more people don’t feel whole, a relationship is turned into hard work.

Consider the metaphor of a lighthouse for clear communication. At the beginning stages of a relationship, our lighthouses (or inner-selves) shine brightly. Each person is able to fully see and appreciate the gifts the other person offers as they beam love outwards. As time goes on, and break-down occurs, relationship “muck” gets smeared onto the windowpanes of the relationship. This makes it tough for the light to shine through.

If we do not pro-actively “clean-up” and repair misunderstandings, miscommunications, differences of needs or opinions… over time our ability to see our partner’s light dims, as it is covered up by “everything that got in the way.”

This workshop will help shine light on the places that need your attention. It will offer you unique and impactful experiences that will open your heart and bring love back in.

This workshop is for individuals who are 18 years or older.

REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY

Because this is an online workshop with video participation over Zoom, you will need a minimum standard of computer equipment. Cell phones are not preferred. Recording is not allowed.

Please be in a private room on a computer if possible, rather than on a mobile phone or a tablet for a better experience. If more than one person in the same household is participating, it’s much better if each of you can have your own computer and be using headphones if you are in the same room. If you have two devices in one room, only one can be connected to audio. Otherwise, you will have echo and feedback issues.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that forces out of your control and ours may happen. We ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible if you need to postpone or transfer a workshop date or offering. Once you are confirmed in a workshop, your payment is non-refundable. If you need to postpone, HAI has a myriad of workshops both in an in-person setting as well as a growing number of online offerings where you may transfer all or part of your deposit or workshop fee according to the following schedule:

• 15 days or more, 1st transfer, no fee, 2nd transfer 25% postponement fee
• 8-14 days, 25% postponement fee
• 7 days to 48 hours, 30% postponement fee
• Less than 48 hours, 50% postponement fee
• Once the workshop starts, 100% fee (no refunds)

The postponement fee is a percentage of the full workshop price at the time of purchase and is based on the first date of a multiple event purchase.

If a credit balance remains after fees are deducted, you have 1 year to use the credit by attending another online or in-person HAI workshop.

Once you start a workshop we ask that you stay for the entire time. We also realize that emergencies or illnesses may take place where you have to leave. Please contact a team member or facilitator if you need to leave.

After 1 year, all payments and/or credits expire and are non-refundable.

ADA POLICY

If you need accommodation to attend a HAI event, contact your local HAI Office at least ten (10) days before the event and inform them of the nature of the disability and your needs.
